Meet Dr. J, the compassionate veterinarian at Antioch Dog & Cat Hospital. Raised in the Missouri bootheel amidst AKC Miniature Pinschers, she developed a love for animals early on. A graduate of the University of Missouri with a DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, Dr. J is an active member of MVMA and AVMA.
Driven by a lifelong passion for animals and a love of science, she specializes in preventative medicine, geriatric pain management, and non-specialty dermatology. Dr. J’s favorite dog breeds are Dobermans and Miniature Pinschers, and her favorite animals include dogs, turtles, and cheetahs.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. J enjoys hunting, fishing, horror movies, and family time. Close-knit with family, she cherishes moments with her mother, who recently moved to the KC area. At home, Dr. J shares her life with four pets: Pickles, an 11-year-old beagle; Xena, a 9-year-old Doberman Pinscher; Delta, a 6-year-old beagle-mini bull terrier mix; and Kevlar, a 5-year-old Doberman Pinscher.
At Antioch Dog & Cat Hospital, Dr. J brings her passion and expertise to ensure every furry patient, regardless of breed, receives top-notch veterinary care.
